The Vestax PMC Pro series were perhaps the most iconic scratch mixers of all time. They distinguished themselves from the earlier PMC range by using VCA circuitry. Or at least some of them did.

  • Released : 1996-1998 (according to the book Groove Music)
  • Mixer Circuit : Optocoupler VCA
  • Faders : ALPS
  • Power supply : 15V DC

This model had the monitor fader behind and to the left of the input faders, a hamster switch, faders instead of pots for channel balance, and a fader for master volume.

PMC-05ProII

  • Released : 2002 or earlier (earliest mention on vestax site, also service manual date)
  • Mixer Circuit : JFET VCA (2SK30A-GR)
  • Faders : PCV
  • Power supply : 15V DC
  • Service Manual : File:PMC-05PRO2.pdf

PMC-05ProIII

  • Released : 2004 or earlier (earliest mention on vestax site)
  • Mixer Circuit : JFET VCA (probably 2SK30A-GR)
  • Faders : PCV
  • Power supply : 15V DC

Also has an effects loop

PMC-05ProSL

Based on the PMC-05PROIII

  • Faders : PCV
  • Power supply : 14V AC
  • Service manual : [1]

PMC-05ProSLVCA

  • Mixer Circuit : JFET VCA (probably 2SK117Y)
  • Faders : PCV
  • Power supply : 14V AC

PMC-05ProIIIDX

  • Released : 2009 or earlier (That's when skratchworx reviewed it)
  • Mixer Circuit : JFET VCA (probably 2SK117Y)
  • Faders : PCV
  • Power supply : 14V AC

PMC-05ProIV

Digital mixing, CF-X2 Crossfader, IF-PCV Line Faders, USB MIDI control

PMC-06T

Not technically in the pro range - uses a dual-rail supply like the 07, and doesn't actually use a VCA at all so presumably wasn't great for scratching

PMC-06ProA

  • Mixer Circuit : JFET VCA (2SK30A-GR)
  • Faders : PCV
  • Power supply : 15V DC

PMC-06ProVCA

  • Released : 2004 (according to service manual)
  • Mixer Circuit : JFET VCA (2SK117Y)
  • Faders : PCV
  • Power supply : 14V AC
  • Service Manual : [2]
