This is a quick guide to connecting a fader to the nanofader circuit.

Carbon-track faders

If you have a carbon-track based fader (Vestax PCV, Penny & Giles, Pro-X-Fade), you only need two wires - one for the terminal(s), one for the wiper.

The terminal(s) connect to the ground or "G" pin of the nanofader "FADER" connector, and the wiper connects to the "W" pin.

So for dual-sided cut, connect "TERMINAL1" and "TERMINAL2" to the "G" pin of the nanofader "FADER" connector, and connect "WIPER" to the "W" pin.

Vestax PCV

The pinout of the vestax PCV is as follows :

You can use either CH1 or CH2.

Pro-X-Fade

The pinout of the Pro-X-Fade is as follows :

You can use either CH1 or CH2.

Innofader

All Innofader varieties work reasonably well, but they require power so three wires will be required.

OEM Mini Innofader

The cheapest Innofader is the model sold directly to equipment manufacturers, and can be obtainable as a spare part or upgrade for various mixers (e.g. various reloop mixers, DJTech DIF-1S, Native Instruments Z2). The pinout of the OEM Mini Innofader is :

The wiring is as follows :

GND - Wire to "G" (ground) pin on nanofader "FADER" connector

VCA2 - Do not connect

VCA1 - Wire to "W" (wiper) pin on nanofader "FADER" connector

V+ - Wire to "+" (supply) pin on nanofader "FADER" connector

Mini Innofader PNP P

Probably the best way to wire up the Mini Innofader PNP P is to extend the supplied "3-pin large cable" or "3-pin small cable", which have the same pinout as the nanofader "FADER" connector. Just remember to do a polarity check first, as described in the Mini Innofader manual.

Innofader PNP

Probably the best way to wire up the Innofader PNP is to extend the supplied "3-pin small cable", which has the same pinout as the nanofader "FADER" connector. Just remember to do a polarity check first, as described in the Innofader PNP manual.
